Scott Morrison pays tribute to late Bert Newton

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has expressed his condolences and reflected on Bert Newton’s remarkable career after the 83-year-old entertainment icon passed away. Mr Morrison said, “Australia loved Bert”, and that “there will never be another like him”. “Bert came into our homes and made himself very welcome,” he said. He also reflected on Mr Newton's sense of humour which made Australians warm to the television star.
