Malala celebrates being ‘partners for life’ with new husband

Activist Malala Yousafzai has announced she married her cricket official husband Asser Malik in a small ceremony in Birmingham, UK. The 24-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner took to Instagram to share the announcement. “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life,” Ms Yousafzai wrote. “We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. “Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
