Johnny Depp’s legal team has indicated the actor’s former girlfriend Kate Moss could be called to the stand as a rebuttal witness on Wednesday amid the ongoing defamation case between Mr Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard. The trial centres around an op-ed in The Washington Post by Amber Heard, where she didn't name Mr Depp but claimed that she was allegedly representing domestic violence. Mr Depp is suing Ms Heard for $US50 million, and the actress is countersuing her former lover for double the money at $USD100 million. During Ms Heard’s testimony, she mentioned Ms Moss and a rumour that the actor once pushed the model down a flight of stairs, leaving the door open for Depp’s legal team to bring her in to take the stand.
