Sydney to review standing and drinking ban

The City of Sydney council is reviewing rules preventing patrons from standing at outdoor dining locations while consuming food and drink. Despite the rule being stipulated in council documents, Liberal councillor Lyndon Gannon says there's support to have the legacy restriction overturned. The guidelines have been in place since COVID-19 lockdown laws throughout the city.
