Actress Anne Heche dies aged 53

US actress Anne Heche has died at the age of 53 – a week after a car crash left her in a coma with significant injuries. The actress is known for roles in Donnie Brasco, Cedar Rapids and the 1998 Psycho remake. In a statement, Heche’s family said: "We have lost a bright light - a kind and most joyful soul – a loving mother – and a loyal friend. Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons - her iconic body of work - and her passionate advocacy."
