Australians calling for longer GP consultations

Australians are wanting more time with their general practitioner to have the complexity of their issues dealt with in a longer consultation, says Australian Medical Association Vice President Dr Danielle McMullen. “So we’re really calling on government, and will continue working with government, to make sure we reward those longer consultations - that complex care,” she told Sky News Australia. "And make sure Australians get the time with their GP they need."
