‘Come From Away’ returns after lockdown

Zoe Gertz, from the cast of global hit musical 'Come From Away', says "the gratitude levels are high" amid the return of the show's Sydney season after it was paused due to lockdown. The show will begin playing again at Sydney's Capitol Theatre from October 20. “The gratitude levels are high at the moment,” Ms Gertz told Sky News Australia. “As it is, the impact that the last few months has had on our industry has been huge, so to be one of the few people, in a theatre getting ready to do a show again, I really feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now." She said the cast's biggest challenge during lockdown has been losing momentum, with the lockdown beginning only two weeks after the show first opened. “So I’m just so happy that we finally get to do a proper Sydney season and that people get to experience this beautiful show… we’re all just so, so happy that it’s all going ahead now.”
