Qld records zero new locally acquired cases

Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath says the state has recorded no new locally acquired COVID cases. Ms D'Ath said there was one new overseas acquired case, currently in hotel quarantine. Queensland currently has 33 active cases of COVID-19. "We had 6,825 tests yesterday and 21,712 vaccinations," Ms D'Ath said at a media conference on Monday. She said when the Commonwealth gives its COVID-19 update today, she is confident it will reveal the state has reached its 70 per cent first dose vaccination target. "Thank you to everyone who came out on the weekend (to get vaccinated)."
