Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley says currently there are 677 people in the state's hospitals with COVID-19. "Some 133 are in the intensive care units across the state, and 94 of those 133 are on a ventilator," he said at Monday's media conference. Mr Foley also said 34,279 vaccines were administered through state-run hubs – 81,000 including GPs, pharmacists and others. Victoria recorded 1,612 new local COVID-19 cases along with eight deaths in the past 24 hours.
