The New South Wales government is scrapping vaccination requirements for visitors to aged care settings – despite a rise in COVID cases. From Monday, visitors to residential aged care facilities will no longer need to be vaccinated after Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant made changes to the public health order. It means individual aged care facilities will be able to decide whether it's recommended visitors be vaccinated.
